How vitrocoat glass paint came to be
Vitrocoat, is a trailblazer in the field of Industrial strength glass paint in the Middle East. Vitrocoat emerged from the bustling construction landscape of this region, where it was developed to meet the growing demand for versatile, practical high performing industrial glass paint for glass cladding in modern construction projects.
Vitrocoat’s journey began with a challenge to meet specifications for the massive glass wall cladding project at Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest and most significant airports. Since 2006, Vitrocoat has been an integral part of every phase of the airport’s development.
Operating in the challenging conditions of Dubai, with its high temperatures and humidity, Vitrocoat has consistently met the demands of the region through its rigorous testing program. This program, conducted in collaboration with global industry leaders such as TUV Rhineland, Dow Corning Laboratories, and Element, has ensured that Vitrocoat’s performance exceeds ASTM standards for quality and durability.
The success of Vitrocoat’s industrial strength glass paint testing program has led to its use for the Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, one of the largest construction projects worldwide, featuring 45,000 square meters of back painted and printed glass.
Beyond airports, Vitrocoat’s industrial strength glass paint can be found in shopping malls, hotels, and luxury villas across the Middle East, as well as in Europe, the Far East, and the USA, thanks to its expanding customer base.
